Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TextGlyphs (textglyphs.com). By using the site you agree to them. They are written to be readable, not to trap you — the short version is: the tools are free, the characters are public Unicode, and we make no guarantee about where a glyph will render.

The service

TextGlyphs provides free, browser-based tools for copying and transforming text symbols. You may use the glyphs, small text and cursed text you generate here for personal or commercial purposes without asking permission and without attribution. No account is required.

Characters, Unicode and intellectual property

The symbols and glyphs offered on this site are code points defined by the Unicode standard. They are part of a public technical standard and are not owned or licensable by TextGlyphs — we cannot grant, and do not claim, exclusive rights over any character. You are free to use them anywhere plain text is accepted.

The site itself — its design, layout, original written content, curation and software — is © TextGlyphs. You may not copy or republish substantial portions of the site’s original text or code as your own.

Render support and “as is” disclaimer

Whether a given glyph displays correctly depends entirely on the fonts installed on the destination device or platform, which is outside our control. A character that looks perfect here can arrive as an empty box elsewhere, and platform support changes with every software update.

For that reason the site and its tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that any character will render on a particular platform, that the tools will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that render-support notes are exhaustive or current at the moment you read them.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the site to harass, impersonate or deceive others, or to produce content that is unlawful in your jurisdiction.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, or reverse-engineer the site’s infrastructure.
  • You are responsible for how you use any text you create here, including complying with the rules of the platforms where you paste it.

Third-party platforms and trademarks

Platform names referenced on this site (such as Instagram, TikTok, Discord and others) are trademarks of their respective owners. TextGlyphs is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. References exist only to describe where characters do and do not display.

Advertising

TextGlyphs may display advertisements from third-party ad networks to keep the tools free. Those ads, and any linked destinations, are controlled by the advertisers and their networks, not by us; we are not responsible for third-party content or offers. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TextGlyphs is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site — including a glyph failing to display, text being rejected or truncated by a platform, or reliance on a render-support note. The tools are free; your use of them is at your own risk.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised update date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and contact
